Lombardy Place — Interior Elevation Drawings
Location: London, UK
Project Type: Residential Renovation
Client: London-based interior design studio
Project Context

Anna K Studio collaborated with a London-based interior design practice on the development of interior elevation drawings for a residential renovation project at Lombardy Place.

The design team required a set of clear and visually understandable interior elevations for several key spaces within the property. These drawings were intended primarily for client presentations and early design discussions.

At the time of the project, the interior design studio had developed moodboards for the spaces but did not yet have a fully structured specification with detailed references to individual products and materials. As a result, the elevation drawings needed to interpret the design intent based on the visual direction provided by the moodboards.

Scope of Work

Anna K Studio produced a series of interior elevation drawings covering multiple areas of the house.

In total, elevation drawings were created for nine spaces within the property, including:
• four bathrooms
• open-plan living, dining and kitchen area
• laundry cabinetry
• TV feature wall
• bedroom feature wall
Each bathroom set included four wall elevations, providing a complete visual representation of the space.
Drawing Approach

Because the available information was primarily based on moodboards rather than detailed specifications, the work required both technical interpretation and creative judgement.

The elevation drawings were developed to be not only technically informative but also visually clear and engaging for the client. Materials and finishes were represented using colour and texture references so that the client could easily understand the design concept.

For example:
• tile types and colours were represented to reflect the intended materials
• metal finishes such as chrome or brass were indicated visually
• cabinetry and joinery elements were differentiated using appropriate tones
• decorative elements such as artwork and objects were added to improve readability and spatial understanding
This approach allowed the elevations to communicate the design concept clearly even without full visualisations.

Collaboration Process

The project progressed at a steady pace, with the design studio requesting drawings as efficiently as possible in order to move the project forward.

Elevation drawings were typically produced within approximately three days per room, allowing the design team to review and present the material without delaying the development of the project.
Outcome

The elevation drawings were primarily used for client presentations, helping the homeowner understand the design concept for each space alongside the moodboards.

In addition, the drawings likely supported later project stages, including discussions with contractors and specialist suppliers such as kitchen and bathroom manufacturers.

By combining technical clarity with visually accessible drawings, the elevations helped bridge the gap between early design ideas and practical project development.
