Surrey House — Concept Development & Visualisation
Location: Surrey, UK
Project Type: New Build Residential Property
Client: Property developer
Project Context
Anna K Studio collaborated with a property developer on the early design development of a new residential house in Surrey.
At the time of the collaboration, the project was still at an initial concept stage. The developer had a clear architectural direction for the exterior of the house but had not yet developed a full interior layout or design concept.
The developer approached Anna K Studio to help translate the architectural concept into a coherent interior layout and visual design that could be used both for project development and marketing purposes.

Scope of Work
Anna K Studio provided a combination of spatial planning, design visualisation and presentation materials for the project.
Our work included:
• interior layout planning for both floors of the house
• interior design concept development
• 3D visualisations of five key rooms
• a hand-drawn sketch for marketing materials
The planning stage focused on creating a layout that would function well from an interior design perspective while respecting the architectural structure of the building.
Design Development Approach
The developer initially provided the exterior architecture of the house, which served as the starting point for developing the interior design direction.
Because the interior concept had not yet been defined, our team developed a design proposal that reflected the architectural character of the building and the surrounding environment.
The spatial layout was based largely on the existing structural framework of the building, although some adjustments were proposed to improve functionality and flow from an interior design perspective.
The interiors were then visualised in order to illustrate how the spaces could look once completed.
Collaboration Process
The project developed over approximately three months, during which the layout, interior concept and visualisations were refined in collaboration with the developer.
Because the developer intended to use the material both for presentations and promotional materials, the visualisations were designed to be suitable not only for internal discussions but also for use in printed brochures and marketing material.
Outcome
The final visual material was used by the developer to present the project to potential buyers and partners.
The visualisations helped communicate the potential atmosphere and spatial organisation of the future home while the project was still under development.
In addition to presentations, the images were also used for brochures and promotional materials, supporting the marketing of the development.
